He played an instrumental role in the construction management of the South Fraser Perimeter Road (Highway 17) and holds the distinction of being BC Certified in Erosion Control(BCCESCL), underscoring his commitment to environmentally responsible engineering practices

With over 40 years of experience in the civil engineering field, Doug’s journey started with a noteworthy 19-year tenure in the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. During this time, he played a pivotal role in surveying and designing highways that stretched from Vancouver Island in the west to the British Columbia border in the east, leaving an indelible mark on the province’s transportation infrastructure.
